Traveloplans cancellation policy outlines your rights, obligations, and options when modifying or canceling bookings made through us. By making a booking with us, you agree to the terms stated herein. This policy applies to all bookings, including but not limited to flights, hotel reservations, cruise packages, car rentals, and vacation bundles.

1. Initiating a Cancellation

To cancel any part of your trip, you must contact our support team by phone. For safety and compliance reasons, cancellations cannot be processed through email, chat, or your online account dashboard. You must provide:

  • Your Traveloplans booking ID
  • Full passenger names
  • Dates of travel
  • Provider confirmation number (if available)

Additional documentation may be required for international cards or non-U.S. bookings, including a signed payment authorization and a valid government-issued photo ID. If these documents are not received within 24 hours, Traveloplans reserves the right to cancel the booking.

2. Fees and Service Charges

Traveloplans applies a service fee for facilitating cancellations. This is separate from the cancellation or change fee charged by the travel provider (airline, hotel, etc.).

3. Refund Eligibility

  • Refunds are subject to the policies of the individual service provider. Many low-cost or promotional fares are non-refundable. Some bookings may offer a credit toward future travel rather than a refund. We will inform you of your options clearly.
  • No-show situations typically forfeit all refund rights. Refunds, if applicable, are usually processed within 7–10 business days but may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.

4. Force Majeure & Provider-Initiated Cancellations

  • If your travel is disrupted by events beyond your control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or global health emergencies, refund eligibility will be governed by the policies of your travel provider. Traveloplans will support you in submitting such claims, but cannot guarantee outcomes.
  • If a booking is canceled by Traveloplans due to internal system errors or third-party failures, you will be notified immediately. A full refund or comparable alternative will be provided in such a case

5. Flexible Cancellation Options

  • Look for listings marked with our “Flexible Cancellation” tag. These options may allow penalty-free cancellation up to 24 or 48 hours before your departure or check-in. This flexibility does not apply to last-minute bookings made within 24 hours of travel.
  • U.S.-based airline tickets typically qualify for full refunds if canceled within 24 hours of purchase; however, exceptions apply.

6. Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) Protection

CFAR is an optional upgrade available at checkout. This coverage may reimburse up to 75% of your non-refundable booking amount if you choose to cancel for a reason not covered under standard policies. Terms, limits, and exclusions apply. Check the specific CFAR policy before purchase.

7. Bookings Through Third Parties

Some reservations made on Traveloplans may be fulfilled by third-party travel operators. In these cases, their terms and cancellation rules take precedence. Traveloplans will assist you in the process, but we do not have authority over final decisions or refund amounts.

8. Time-Sensitive & Urgent Bookings

Bookings made within 24 hours of departure or check-in often have limited or no cancellation flexibility. Please review all terms carefully before confirming such reservations.

9. Travel Documentation Requirements

It is your responsibility to ensure that you possess all necessary travel documents, such as valid passports, visas, health certificates, and vaccination records. Traveloplans is not liable for refunds if you are denied travel due to missing or invalid documentation.

10. Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance. It offers protection against trip interruptions, cancellations, delays, and medical emergencies. Coverage specifics depend on the provider; read the fine print carefully

11. Checklist Before You Cancel:

To speed up the process, have the following ready:

  • Traveloplans Booking ID
  • Traveler names as on the booking
  • Travel dates
  • Third-party confirmation number, if applicable
  • Optional: reason for cancellation

12. Changes to The Cancellation Policy

This policy is reviewed regularly and may be updated without prior notice. The latest version will always be posted on our site. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the current terms.

Make sure to read this policy in detail, and if you do not agree with any of the mentioned points, refrain from using Traveloplans.com instantly.
